Following their 1-1 draw with Inter at the Camp Nou last week and their 3-1 defeat to Real at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, Barcelona are hoping to get back to winning ways on Thursday at home against Villarreal.
Xavi Hernandez’s side are currently second in the LaLiga Santander table, with the Yellow Submarine sitting seventh after defeating Osasuna 2-0 on home soil on Monday courtesy of an Arnaut Danjuma brace.
That was Villarreal’s second win in a row after beating Austria Vienna 1-0 on the road in the Conference League last Thursday.
